The Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery (MICS) Fellowship trains fellows in advanced endoscopic and robotic techniques for valve repair, atrial fibrillation ablation, and hybrid procedures, building on the division’s expertise in transcatheter innovation. Participants work closely with leaders in the field to reduce recovery times and optimize patient outcomes at University Health Network.
Emphasis is placed on simulation training, outcomes research, and transitioning to minimally invasive practices.
