The Cardiovascular Surgery (CVS) Fellowship offers comprehensive training in adult cardiac surgery, covering a full spectrum of procedures including coronary artery bypass, valve repair/replacement, and mechanical circulatory support at Toronto General Hospital, Peter Munk Cardiac Centre.
Fellows gain hands-on experience in complex cases under the guidance of world-renowned faculty like Drs. Rao and Ouzounian, with opportunities for research integration. This program prepares trainees for independent practice and leadership in high-volume academic centers.
Application for Clinical Fellowship: Cardiovascular Surgery (CVS)
In order to qualify for a clinical fellowship, all candidates must have valid certification showing that they are trained cardiac surgeons or have completed their training and are eligible to take their Board examinations.
Fellowships are for one full year starting July 1st or January 1st.
